Gravette Obituaries

Inola Davidson

Inola Davidson, 90, of Gravette, died Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. She was born March 13, 1920, in Stilwell, OK, the daughter of Noah and Jennie Meadows.

She moved to Gravette in 1940 and resided in the area previously known as Nebo. She married Paul C. Davidson. He preceded her in death as did one of her sons, Ronald A. Davidson, and her sister Lorene. She was librarian at the Gravette Public Library for many years and continued to reside in the Gravette area.

Survivors include one son, Paul L. Davidson and wife Christine of Bentonville; a sister, Sue Stumbo of Bentonville; and a niece, Betty Sue Hutchinson of Bentonville.

Funeral service was held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Whisenant officiating. Burial was at Hillcrest Cemetery in Gravette.

Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.

Charles Noah

Charles Chesley Noah, 91, of Gravette, died Monday, April 26, 2010, at Bradford House in Bentonville. He was born April 16, 1919, in Judsonia, AR, the son of Charles Boston and Lunar Bernice Noah.

Mr. Noah was in the lumber industry and a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Imogene; one son, Lee Roy Noah and wife Charlene of Gravette; one daughter, Meleta Mitchell and husband Charles of Gravette; a brother, M. L. Noah of Siloam Springs; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three greatgreat-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday at 10 a.m. at God’s Lighthouse near Centerton with burial at Coffelt Cemetery near Centerton.

Arrangements were by Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
