Saturday is the postal employees food drive. Hang a can or two of nonperishable food items on your mailbox for your carrier to pick up for the food bank.

We extend sympathy to Judy Bunch and her family for the loss of her mother.

Ruby Hight received word that her son-in-law, Chester Fisher of Indiahoma, OK, had passed away. The funeral was Thursday. Sympathy is extended to the family.

Sympathy is extended to the Inola Davidson family. Inola and I worked together at the Gravette School lunchroom several years ago.

I visited with Ruby Hight on Wednesday afternoon.

Dale and Lamarise Henry have spent a few daysin Junction City, Kansas, visiting Dale’s brother and family.

Maxine Holloway is spending the weekend in Garfield with her daughter, Carolyn Taylor, and family.

Robert Brooks from Ola, AR, spent Saturday night with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Brooks.

Ward, Paula and I had Sunday dinner with Lofty, DaleLynn and Lamarise Carrier.

Robert and Geneva Hamilton went to Westville, OK, on Saturday and enjoyed an all-school reunion with some of Robert’s classmates.

Sunday after church Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hamilton and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Weihe drove to Rogers and enjoyed lunch together.
