Maudine and Darl Patterson of Siloam Springs, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on May 15, with a backyard reception.

The couple married in 1970 in Miami, Okla. Darl is originally from LocustGrove, Okla., and Maudine is from Decatur. The couple has four children: Shellie Kindy and husband Dennis, Marena Harmon and husband Dude, Darl Patterson, and Martha Whittington and husband Wade.
