Sharon Elizabeth James of Newman, GA, announces the engagement and approaching marriage of her daughter, Kimberly Dawn Day, to Herman “Tray” Donald Smith III, son of Herman Donald and Elizabeth Ann Smith II of Hiwasse, AR.
The bride-elect, originally from Crossett, AR, graduated from Crossett High School in 1996. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education in 2003 and a Master’s Degree in Education in 2006, both from the University of Arkansas in Monticello. In May, 2009, she completed a program of study in School Counseling atHarding University to earn certification as a licensed Arkansas school counselor. Since 2007 she has been a middle school teacher at Gravette Public School.
The prospective bridegroom graduated from Gravette High School in 1992. He attended Westark College (UA Fort Smith) in Forth Smith and has been coowner with his father in the family business, H & H Classic Parts, Bentonville.
The wedding will be an event of Saturday, July 17, at Simple Pleasures Event Center in Bella Vista.
A reception will follow.
