Mr. and Mrs. Gene Gamble of Scott City, Kansas, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Thursday, May 20, 2010.

They will be honored with a reception Sunday, May 23, in the fellowship hall of the First Baptist Church at Scott City. Friends and family are invited to drop in between the hours of two and four in the afternoon.

Gene Gamble and Louise Croxdale were married May 20, 1960, at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church with Tom Netherton officiating. Louise was a 1960 graduate of Gravette High School and Gene a 1960 graduate of Bentonville High School.

The Gambles are parents of two children, Neal Gamble and Glenita Dearden, both of Scott City. They have three grandchildren.
