Allyson Ransom, coordinator of Gravette Farmers’ Market, announces the Grand Opening of the Market will be held Saturday, May 29, starting at 8:30 a.m. in Old Town Park.

This is the third year for the market, which will operate each Saturday from8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

All items at the market are locally produced and include homegrown seasonal fruits, vegetables and herbs, honey, fresh baked goods, plants, cut flowers, bouquets, handcrafted musical instruments and fiber products, yarns and soaps.

There will be live folk music and more. WIC vouchers are accepted as well as Senior Nutrition Program vouchers.

Free seed packets will be given away and the first 55 persons who purchase products from any vendor will receive a free Farmers’ Market bag.
