— Roberta Payton

Roberta Payton, 94, of Maysville, died May 19, 2010, in Lakewood, CO. She was born 27, 1916, the daughter of John and Pearl Donaghe Clary.

Mrs. Payton lived in the Maysville area most of her life. She was a member of Beacon Baptist Church in Gravette. She and her husband, the late Lowell Payton, were dairy farmers. She worked at Gravette Shelling Company and was a nurses’ aide at Gravette Medical Center Hospital.

Survivors include one daughter, Arlene Boyle and husband David of Conifer, CO; two grandsons, David Boyle and wife Inez of Washington and Douglas Boyle and wife Mari of Chantilly, VA; four greatgrandchildren; two greatgreat-grandchildren and one sister, Alice Haley of Gravette.

Graveside services were Monday, May 24, at 1:30 p.m. at Maysville Cemetery under direction of Callison-Lough Funeral Home.

Mathue Westrick Mathue E. Westrick, 31, of Sulphur Springs, died Friday, May 21, 2010. He was born July 17, 1978, in Gravette and was a lifelong resident of Sulphur Springs.

He worked as a farmer, fence builder and handyman. He was preceded in death by a brother, Quintin Westrick.

Survivors include his mother, Maria Westrick of Sulphur Springs; three brothers, Thad Westrick of Gravette and Craig and Jarrod Westrick, both of Sulphur Springs; five sisters, Lothel Sales and Violet Westrick, both of Sulphur Springs, Deyone Lane of Rogers, Brydee Carrier of Gravette and Kwinta Westrick of Tulsa; and 22 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are this Wednesday, May 26, at 2 p.m. at Ozark Funeral Home chapel in Noel with pastor Raymond Scott officiating. Burial is at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Ulises Gonzalez Ulises “Uli” Gonzalez, 42, of Bentonville, died Monday 20, 2010, at Washington Regional in Fayetteville. He was born April 21, 1968, in Mexico City to Salvador Gonzalez and Aurora Tapia Gonzalez.

He was a missionary.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Pedraza; one son, Abiud Gonzalez and wife Lynsey of Fayetteville; one daughter, Jocabed “Koko” Gonzalez of Bentonville; two brothers and one granddaughter.

Memorial services were Sunday afternoon at The Christian Center in Bentonville. Cremation arrangements are by Stockdale Funeral Services in Rogers.
