Senior Center Report

Wednesday, May 26, 2010

Friday, June 4, the Bank of Gravett will be having a Hamburger Fry fundraiser beginning at 11 a.m. with proceeds going to help the Billy V. Hall Senior Activity Center and its Meals on Wheels program. The meal will consist of a hamburger on bun, chips, soft drink and dessert for $5.

Don’t forget to get your recipes sent in for our taste-tempting community cookbook featuring favorite recipes from members of our community. We would like people to submit three or four of their favorite recipes so that they can be represented in our memorable collection. We ask, when submitting your recipes, that you print your name on the recipes so that they may be included with each recipe. The deadline for submitting recipes is June 30, 2010.

For information regarding the cookbook or on hot Home Delivered Meals for Gravette, Decatur and Sulphur Springs, frozen Home Delivered Mealsfor Maysville, homebound seniors or other services the Center offers, call Mary Kay Kelley, Director of Billy V. Hall Senior Activity Center, 787-5950.
