GRAVETTE — Gravette area churches are combining their efforts to sponsor the second annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner. The free event will be held Saturday, Nov. 20, at the Gravette High School cafeteria. Serving will be from noon to 2 p.m. that afternoon.
“If you would like to join us please R.S.V.P. by Wednesday, November 17,” said Bob Kirkley, minister of the Gravette Church of Christ, one of the participating churches. “The number is 787-6459. Free transportation will also be available.Please leave a message if there is no answer,” he added.
“Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful and a time to share. We would love to share with you in a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. Holidays are a time of joy. So often we find ourselves dragged down in this fast paced world. We would like to share a little joy with you and your family.
“If you know someone who needs a little joy let us know so we can share with them. Please come join us for food and fun.”
