— We got a much needed rain this week along with cooler weather. Sunday the sun was shining and it was in the 70’s. It was a nice day.

Maysville E. H. Club members, this Thursday, Nov. 18, is our club meeting. We will just meet at 1 p.m. for the business meeting and do some cleaning weneed to do for the upcoming dinner.

The Maysville community Thanksgiving dinner will be this Saturday evening at 6 p.m. The club hosts it each year to show our appreciation for the ones who support us and help keep expenses paid so we can continue to use the building. The club furnishes turkey, ham, bread, dressing, drinksand table service. Everyone is invited and asked to bring the dish of their choice and join us for the evening.

Jack and Sylvia Tucker and I went to Vanzants at Lowell two times last week. They called to see if I wanted to go with them (sure, I did), then they treated me for lunch. I enjoy going with them.

I talked to Jo Ellen Tuckerin Indiana Sunday afternoon. She is planning a trip to Conway to see some relatives, then she will call me and make plans to come back this way and see everyone she can. I am looking forward to seeing her again.
