Michael Allen Adams

Michael Allen Adams, 50, of Springdale, died Oct. 29, 2010, in Fayetteville.

Adams was born Nov. 14, 1959, in Little Rock, to Duane and Cotyeann (Katy) Wittmuss Adams. He was a carpet layer.

He is survived by his mother, Katy Adams of Kingston, Idaho; five daughters, Chrissy Allene Adams and Trisha Kate Adams, both of Springdale, Freedom David of Gravette, Jessica and Faith Adams, both of Joplin, Mo.; his brother, Robert Adams of Fayetteville;

sisters, Catharine Seefeldt of Ransonville, N.Y., and Cindy Robbins of Owasso, Okla.; and five grandchildren.

Memorial services were Nov. 14 at Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers.

Arrangements were by Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers.

Milton Reese Jensen

Milton Reese Jensen, 100, of Gentry, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, in Keene, Texas.

He was born April 25, 1910, in Early, Iowa, to Charles Jensen and Lizzie Drury Jensen. He was a farmer and, prior to enlisting for military service, a Harley Davidson Motorcycle dealer in Dixon and Freeport, Ill. He served in World War II and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Siloam Springs. He was an honorary lifetime member of the Rock River Riders Motorcycle Club and was a founding member of the club when it was formed in Illinois in 1935.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Alice Lewis Jensen; and brother, Walter Jensen.

Survivors include two sons, David Jensen and wife Donna, and Jim Jensen and wife Jeanne, all of Gentry; one daughter, Anne Giddings and husband John of Keene, Texas; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Nov. 16, 2010, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs. Burial was at Gentry Cemetery, Gentry, with the Patriot Guard Motorcycle Riders accompanying the procession.

Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Louis Marian McJunkin

Louis Marian McJunkin, 79, of Springdale, died Nov.

12, 2010, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.

He was born Feb. 20,1931, in Lawton, Okla., to Elias Alfred and Anna Valentine (Jenkins) McJunkin, the youngest of 10 children. The family moved to Siloam Springs, Ark., in 1936. He began working at a young age harvesting wheat in 1948. He later bought an Esso Station in Siloam Springs. He was drafted into the Army in 1951 to the 24th Infantry in the Korean War. After returning home, he married Lois June Shay of Gentry on Nov. 6, 1953. He worked for McDonnell-Douglas from 1953 to 1958. He started his ownbusiness, Noark Oil and Auto Supply, on March 8, 1958. He was president of the Kiwanis Club and Springdale Chamber of Commerce. He was elected to the first Quorum Court in Washington County and later elected to the State House of Representatives from 1984 to 1999. He was the chairman of the State Auditing Committee as well as serving on the board of directors for the Shiloh Museum and Arts Center of the Ozarks. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Springdale Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and six brothers.

He is survived by his wife Lois, two sons and their wives: Steve and Tracey McJunkin, and Kent and Linda McJunkin, all of Springdale; a brother, Clarence McJunkin and his wife Norma of Caldwell, Idaho; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were Nov. 16 at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, with Wesley Hulvey officiating. Burial was at Friendship Cemetery.

Arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.

May Richardson

May Richardson, 85, of Gentry, died Nov. 8, 2010, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville.

She was born April 29, 1925, in Spring Valley, to Eura and Ethel Davis Lawson. She worked many years as a housekeeper.

She was preceded in death by one great-grandchild.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil H. Richardson, of the home, to whom she was married April 27, 1945; two sons, Sonny Richardson and wife Carla of Gentry, and Mahlon Richardson and wife Marsha of Fayetteville; five daughters, Linda Kirkland of Avoca, Merlene Richardson, Patsy Richardson and Erlene Pilgrim, all of Gentry, and Betty Collins and husband Milford of Hindsville; one brother, Charles Lawson of Kansas City, Mo.; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Nov. 11 at Burkshed Church with the Loren Collins officiating. Burial was at Burkshed Cemetery.

Arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
