GRAVETTE — The NW Benton County Bandits Fall Softball team had a productive and fun fall season.
The Bandits started practicing in late August and just finished their season the end of October.
The team was comprised of Gravette and Gentry girls, 8-10. They competed in 10U Softball in the Bentonville Fall League and also played IFA tournaments in Joplin and compiled a 9-7-1 record. Many of the girls were new to player pitch this year and they made a nice transition from machine pitch.
Many community volunteers assisted the team. Girls in Gravette may start as early as 4 years old in T Ball and move up to machine pitch at seven.
Online signups, at www.leaguelineup.com/ gravette. will begin on Jan. 1 for the spring Gravette baseball/sofball season
