Due to the 10th being on a Sunday and the 11th being a holiday you have until October 12th to pay your taxes before paying a penalty this year.

Larry Holloway is in the hospital in Tulsa with a broken hip following a motorcycle accident on Friday.

Mitch and Jan Rogers have returned home after spending some time in Hot Springs visiting Jan’s sister who has recently undergone surgery and other relatives.

Hershal Keith is a patient at the Rogers Hospital. We hope he improves enough to come home.

Larry and Regina Keith have spent the weekend camping at the lake.

Those enjoying lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Ward Carrier on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Brian Carrier, Amy Brooks, DaleLynn Carrier, Lamarise Carrier and myself.

On Friday Robert and Geneva Hamilton were in Fort Smith where they witnessed the naturalization ceremony for a lady Robert had been tutoringin literacy. On the way home Robert saw his doctor, then they enjoyed the last half of the ballgame. A long day.

Robert Paul Hamilton spent some time in Dallas this week at a Firemen’s Convention. A long motorcycle trip.

Mr. and Mrs. Terry Campbell presented a musical service at the Nazarene Church on Sunday.

Raylene Lundy Spear is on our sick list and in need of our prayers.

Autumn Gregg won two Grand Champion and a Reserve Champion award with her sheep at the Fort Smith show this week.

Jake Carver was on the winning team for both his ballgames on Saturday.

Gloria Hill, Sheryl Laughard and Novella Carlton attended an event at the Bella Vista United Methodist Church on Saturday morning.

Ron and Karen Burns spent a couple of days on a mini-vacation in Grove, Okla., this week.
