Guess everyone is enjoying the weather. I think everyone was ready for cooler temps.

I went to the Wild Wilderness Safari in Gentry on Wednesday of last week with Matt and Karla Ballmann and Jacob. It was very enjoyable. I had no idea it had gotten as big as it is now. We came back by McDonald’s at Gentry to eat.

Several people from the Maysville Bible Church attended the singing at Grace Meadows Church south of Maysville Sunday at 2 p.m. Terry Campbell,. a singing evangelist, sang several songs that he had written before and after he changed hislife. It was an enjoyable afternoon.

Shelly Bishop visited her grandparents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, one day this week.

The Maysville E. H. Club has planned a fundraiser to be held October 16 at Maysville Community Center. There will be a bean supper. Cost is just a donation. We will have a cake walk and baked pies and other food items for sale. It is not an auction. Mark your calendar, Oct. 16. This is our yearly fundraiser to help on the expenses of the building. We are glad to be able to keep the building available for use and we really do appreciate your each and every donation to help keep it open.
