GRAVETTE — Another new business recently opened at 605 N. First Ave. N.W., a fabric shop.
Megan Dwinell opened the Fabric Hutt on Arkansas 59 Highway at the north edge of Gravette because she loves to sew, and many large department stores no longer carry fabric. She is hoping to fill a void and provide fabric and sewing supplies to other sewers in the area and save them a long drive for their sewing supplies.
Dwinell sells fabric, lace and other sewing supplies in her shop. In addition, she sells scrub tops, purses she has made and other miscellaneous items. She even offers used sewing machines for those who would like to get started in sewing or who would like to replace another machine.
She also plans to offer sewing classes if anyone is interested
The Fabric Hutt is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
