Hair stylist reopens business in Gravette

GRAVETTE — A new hair styling salon recently opened in Gravette, but it’s not entirely new because the owner operated a salon here before for 12 years.

Annette “Reese” Hamilton reopened her salon, called “The Hair Saloon,” at 605 North First Ave., N.W. (Arkansas Highway 59) after truck driving with her husband for five years. She had operated a salon in Gravette from 1995 through 2007 and served a large clientele in the area.

And now she’s back, offering haircuts and hairstyling to men, women and children. She reopened Sept. 8.

Hamilton graduated in 1984 from Northwest Arkansas Cosmotology School - now Career Academy for Hair Design - in Siloam Springs. She worked as a hair stylist at His & Hers Salon in Siloam Springs for several years before opening her own salon in Gravette.

Hamilton is open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and other times by appointment. She takes appointments and welcomes walk-ins as well.
