Louis Elgin Ehrlich

Louis Elgin Ehrlich, 89, of Kansas, Okla., died Oct. 9, 2010, in Claremore, Okla.

He was born Jan. 5, 1921, in Pauls Valley, Okla., to Paul and Beulah Brightwell Ehrlich. He was a former employee of Brand Rex in Siloam Springs and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Ehrlich of Kansas and Benny Ehrlich of Colcord, Okla.; two daughters, Retha Perdue of Kansas, and Cathy King of Enid, Okla.; one brother; one sister; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were Oct. 12 at Kansas Cemetery. Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Lonnie Frazier

Lonnie Frazier, 60, of Fayetteville, died Oct. 5, 2010, in Fayetteville.

He was born May 1, 1950, in Siloam Springs, to Chester and Wilhemina Lynch Frazier. He was a member of Mercy and Grace Cathedral Church.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Frazier.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel Frazier, of the home; his parents; a son, Roy Frazier of Fayetteville; a daughter, Becky and husband Ricky Center of Prairie Grove; two brothers, Kenneth Frazier and Martin Frazier, both of Fayetteville; five sisters, Diana Hays of Prairie Grove, Karen Hankins of Gentry, Jeanie Belt of Fayetteville, Lisa Cousin of Lowell and Gayla Jordan of Rogers; and six grandchildren.

Graveside services were Oct. 9, at White Oak Cemetery with Wesley McGinnis officiating.

Arrangements were by Nelson-Berna Funeral Home and Crematory of Fayetteville.

John Wesley King Sr.

John Wesley King Sr. of Gravette, died Oct. 3, 2010, at his home.

He was born Nov. 6, 1944, in Colcord, Okla., to Ira and Mary Cline King. He was a farmer and lifelong resident of Gravette.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Delphia Jean King; one brother, Ivan King; and one sister, Pat King.

Survivors include three sons, Everette King of Cave Springs, Sheldon King of Illinois, John Wesley King Jr. of California; two stepdaughters, Carolyn Kaye Monroe of Rogers, Cindy Gaye Stacy of Decatur, ; two brothers, Bob King of Maysville, Eddie King of Maysville; and two grandchildren.

Graveside service was held at Oct. 7 at the Lee Cemetery in Gravette. Arrangments were by Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Bentonville.

Annabell Mae Philpott

Annabell Mae Philpott, 68, of Maysville, died Oct. 8, 2010, at Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette.

She was was born March 21, 1942, at Maysville to Guy Ward and Josephine Maulding Ward. She was a lifelong resident of the area. She worked in Quality Control for Peterson Farms. She was a member of the Maysville Bible Church. She married Harold Eugene Philpott on Nov. 19, 1966.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold; two brothers, Guy Ward and Bob Ward; and two sisters, Almeta Shields and Juanita Sislo.

Survivors include one brother, William “Bill” Ward of Gravette; three sisters, Loreta Talbot and her husband Budgy, and Mabel Ward, of Maysville, and Marcia Pritchard and her husband Jerry Bob of Gravette; two stepsons, Richard Philpott and his wife Kim of Colcord, Okla., Darrell Philpott of S.W. City, Mo.; one stepdaughter, Wanda Fiorito and husband Mike of Noel, Mo.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Oct. 11 in the Maysville Bible Church, with Jim Whisenant and Raymond Scoot officiating. Interment was at the Maysville Cemetery. Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Richard Shadduck

Richard “Dick” Shadduck, 73, of Siloam Springs, died Sept. 24, 2010, in Fayetteville.

He was born Jan. 27, 1937, in Hollywood, Calif., to Elmer and Vera Good Shadduck. He was an engineer for the Southern Pacific railroad, a Seventh-day Adventist minister, co-founder of Safe-TV and served as its public relations director.

Survivors include his wife Gail; two daughters, Robin Adkins and husband Hank of Springdale, and Sheri Rhea and husband Sam of Belton, Mo.; a brother; and a grandchild.

A service will be at 3 p.m. Oct. 16 at the Gentry Seventh-day Adventist Church, 21090 Dawn Hill East Road.

Arrangements are by Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
