GRAVETTE — Two persons were arrested early Monday and charged with possession of a controlled substance, after Gravette Police Sergeant John Dunham responded to a call at 902 Fourth Avenue S.W. involving a runaway juvenile.

The officer discovered two individuals in possession of what is believed to be marijuana, divided and packaged. Twenty-three packets, ranging in size of one to four grams were seized.

The estimated value is $400 according to Lt. David Smith. Jonathan Garber and a juvenile female were arrested and charged, Smith said.
