— GRAVETTE - A coat drive for area children is being sponsored during the remainder of October by the Gravette High School FCCLA, according to Nichole Mannion, Family, Career & Consumer Science teacher/advisor.

“We will be hosting a coat drive for the Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter from now until October 29 including at the Senior Night football game that evening,” Mannion said.

Coats, new or ‘gently used’, can be dropped off at the high school.

“All donations are greatly appreciated and go toward a very good cause right here in Northwest Arkansas,” she added.

The FCCLA students will also be sponsoring a chili dinner the evening of Senior Night, when seniors will be honored. The Lions will host the Berryville Bobcats that evening, the final regular season home game.
