— The Lady Pioneers had a winning streak last week, with wins over Pea Ridge on Senior Night, Oct. 4, 3-0, and Berryville, on Oct. 5, by a score of 3-2.

“Our seniors have done everything they were asked to do over the course of the season and it really paid off this week,” said volleyball coach Daren Ward. “The team has been playing well the last two weeks, and I believe we’re peaking at the perfect time.”

“Terra Jones has been a force at the net, leading the team in kills.Jessica VanHook led the team with sets, and Metaya Snell’s wicked serves have been tough to hit all year. Josie Graves also had a big game against Berryville, with numerous digs and key kills down the stretch," he said.

District play began Monday night at Shiloh.

“I’m looking forward to seeing if we can keep the momentum going. Whoever we play Monday is going to be in for a battle,” Ward added.
