Gravette Gleamers learn of Red Cross classes and training

— Guest speaker David Vang came to speak to the the Gravette Gleamers 4-H Club about the American Red Cross at its July 12 monthly meeting.

Vang spoke about the classes offered by the Red Cross and brought a dummy to teach club members how to help a choking victim.

He told the club the Red cross offers classes in CPR and classes for those who wish to become certified babysitters.

Other classes include swimming, lifeguard training, pet first aid and many more.

The Cloverbuds made paper flowers and showed their crafts at the meeting.

On Gravette Day the club held a silent auction with baskets.
