We have a change in temperature that is welcome It’s suppose to be nice the rest of the week. I’m sure everyone will enjoy it.

Patti King of Lowell visited her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, one day this past week.

Jewel Lukens went with some relatives on Monday to visit her sister, Dorothy Boyd, in Neosho, Mo.

Nanete (Killion), daughter of the late Lee Killion, Cazelle and Marita (Sagely) Gwen Killion came in the afternoon for a visit. Other afternoon visitors were Jim Brown, Bob Barnett and Cazelle’s daughter. It turned out to be quite a reunion. We were all glad to be together.

Jack and Sylvia Tucker and Katherine Tucker went to Lowell one morning to get peaches and grapes at Vanzant Produce.

Marvin and Billie Wilber attended funeral services on Thursday for Melba Jean (Goddard) Birkes at Choteau, Okla. She and her husband, Pete Birkes, grew up in Maysville. She and Pete had been married 33 years. Sympathy is extended to the family.

My brother, Vernon Vandiver of Bentonville, visited me one afternoon last week. We had a good visit.

I always enjoy his coming over.

Julie Cook and Billy and a friend visited me in late afternoon on Tuesday.

Tracy Warren and Skylar also came by for a while.
