Moorman, Sharp to wed

Whitney Moorman of Sulphur Springs and Jeremy Sharp of Springdale plan to marry at 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 2, at Cedaridge Event Center in Bentonville.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Robert and Teresa Moorman of Sulphur Springs. She is the granddaughter of Vera Moorman of Sulphur Springs and the late Kenneth Moorman, and Ralph and Alice Williams of Southwest City, Mo., and the late Doris Williams.

She recently graduated from Missouri Southern State University with a bachelor’s degree in health science with an emphasis in dental hygiene. She is employed by Pediatric Dental Associates and Orthodontics in Fayetteville. She is a 2005 graduate of Gravette High School.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Steve and Angela Sharp of Springdale. He is the grandson of Billie Sharp of Springdale and the late Max Sharp, and Dee and Barbara Couch of Haskell, Okla.

He is attending Northwest Arkansas Community College, majoring in business. He is a 2004 graduate of Springdale High School and is self-employed.

Bailey, Barlow engaged

Amy Bailey, of Lincoln, and Cody Barlow, of Maysville, have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Ed and Vicki Bailey of Lincoln. She is the granddaughter of Clarlie and Willene Washington of Summers, and the late Charles and Audrey Bailey. She is a 2000 graduate of Lincoln High School in Lincoln, a 2003 graduate of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M with a degree in agriculture, and a 2006 graduate of Oklahoma State University at Stillwater, Okla., with a degree in agricultural communications. She is employed as a provider relations representative for Arcadian Health Plan.

The prospective groom is the son of Jack Barlow of Pawnee, Okla., and Connie Barlow of Bentonville. He is the grandson of the late Ed and Irma Barlow, and the late Bill and Barbara Cooper. He is a 2000 graduate of Decatur High School in Decatur. He is employed at Builtwell Construction.

The wedding will be held at 5 p.m., Sept. 25, at Creekwood Gardens in Rogers.
