Evans, Skaggs exchange vows

— Deanna Gale Skaggs of Lowell and John Archie Evans of Gentry were united in marriage at a 6 p.m. wedding on Saturday, August 21, at the Evans Farm in Gentry.

Mark Evans officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Johnny Skaggs of Pea Ridge and Brenda Schafer of Springdale and the granddaughter of Beulah Bilderback and the late Leonard Bilderback of Lowell, Anna Mae Snodgrass of West Fork and the late Marvin Skaggs.

The bridegroom is the son of Dwayne and Jeannetta Evans and the grandson of John and Betty McCaskill, Carol Hoggatt and the late Ray Hoggatt and the late Archie Evans.

Tracy Stuckey of Dewey, Okla., served her sister as maid of honor. Best man was Wes Evans of Gentry, brother of the groom.

Chloie Stuckey and Emma Evans, nieces of the couple, served as flower girls. Kealy Skaggs and Drew Stuckey presided at the guest book. Ricky Bilderback, the bride’s uncle, provided music for the occasion.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Evans Farm.

After a trip to Estes Park, Colo., the couple will make their home in Gentry where they plan to start a small family and farm.

The bride is claims coordinator for Tyson Foods in Springdale, and the groom is employed as an equipment operator for APAC in Fayetteville and is a parttime farrier.
