Hat maker welcomed

GRAVETTE — J. W. Brooks, center, owner of Brooks Custom Hat Company, is welcomed to Gravette by Jayna Cardetti and Lindsey Watford, representing the Gravette Chamber of Commerce. Brooks, who operated his business in Arizona, recently relocated to Gravette Main Street where he makes custom hats, marketed nationwide through the Internet and at shows such as one he attended recently in Las Vegas.

Brooks recently explained the complex hat-making process at a meeting of the Gravette Kiwanis Club.
