GRAVETTE — Community members are invited to attend the Gravette Community Choir’s preview of this year’s Christmas musical selection at 7 p.m., Sept. 21, at the Assembly of God Church on Arkansas Highway 102 West in Gravette.
All vocalists, actors and actresses, musicians and stage, sound and support persons that are interested in participating are encouraged to attend, said organizer Gabra Stewart.
“No one will be turned away. This is a community choir,” she said.
This year’s musical drama will be titled It’s the most wonderful time of the year, she said.
“I am so excited about this musical drama... This is going to be so much fun! Don't miss out,” Stewart wrote on the choir’s Facebook page.
Although it has been several years since the community choir put on a Christmas musical, Stewart said she decided to organize the program after a number of people requested that it make a comeback.
Practices will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and participants will help determine the date for the final performance sometime in early December.
