New program allows Gravette parents to access grades online

— Parents in Gravette School District may access their student’s grades on the Internet through the EDLINE system, according to Janna Sharp, Parent Involvement Coordinator at Gravette High School.

“Parents accessing EDLINE may view not only grades, but also attendance and tardies information,” she added.

Parent coordinators in Gravette Middle School and Upper Elementary were also involved. Glenn Duffy Elementary does not participate in the program. The service is free, Sharp said.

If your child attends Gravette Upper Elementary contact Jaymey Boston at 787-4140 or [email protected] for your parent activation code.

If your child attends Gravette Middle School contact Mike Walker at 787-4172 or mwalker@ lions.k12.ar.us.

If your child attends Gravette High School contact Janna Sharp at 787-4193 or [email protected].

Once you have your parent activation code you will go to http://edline.net to set up your personal parents account.

Only persons who are assigned an activation code can access the information, Sharp declared.

If you have students in more than one building you have the option of combining student accounts and this can be done when you are setting up the account.

Once a student moves to a new building, the student and parents must set up a new EDLINE account, she added.

For information contact Sharp at the number above or either of the other faculty members.
