— Gravette Public Library has recently installed a new Bilingual Early Literacy Station, one of 204 such stations supplied to libraries throughout the state from the Arkansas State Library.

Using the station, children ages 2-10 are able to explore programs in math, science, geography, reading, writing, reference, music and art.

A special feature provides fun and challenge for all ages using programs in English or Spanish.

Kim Schneider, director of the library, and assistant Margo Thomas recently were in Little Rock to secure the self-contained station which is now in operation.

Two sets of headphones are also provided so two children can simultaneously use the device.

The service is free and is made possible by a grant from the U. S. Institute of Museum and Library Services to the Arkansas State Library under provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act.
