— FCCLA members raised $415 for the Arkansas Children’s Hospital in five days with a football fundraiser.

High school students sold paper footballs to be posted on the wall for $1 each as part of FCCLA’s national fundraising campaign for the Children‘s Miracle Network, according to teacher Kathy Pannell.

Classes competed to see which one could raise the most money.

Footballs were hung in the high school hallway with donor's names on them.

The project was designed to help students get involved with the community and to support school spirit during football season, Pannell said.

The senior class raised the most money - $237 - with the help of an anonymous $200 donation, Pannell said.

The sophomore class made the most sales, selling a total of 97 footballs, she said.

Sophomore Logan Jamison sold the most footballs individually with an official total of 50. Counting the footballs he helped sell for friends and other classes, Jamison sold more than 115 footballs, he said.
