Fall cleanup day set in Gravette

— The City of Gravette has announced the annual fall citywide cleanup day will be held Wednesday, Oct. 13, and citizens are advised early so they may make preparation to take advantage of this free service.

Roll-Off Sanitation on that day will pick up large items which are normally hard to dispose of.

Dumpsters will also be placed adjacent Centennial Park for the convenience of citizens.

No hazardous items will be picked up and “if you need to dispose of such items, contact Enviro-Sources in Rogers (636-4447) or Benton County Solid Waste (795-0751) for information,” the city announced.

Roll-Off provided the following list of items which will not be picked up during the cleanup day:

Hazardous waste, dirt,industrial waste, chemical products, herbicides and pesticides, radioactive material, solvents, paint, other flammable liquids, aerosol cans, propane tanks, motoroil, transmission/lubricating/hydraulic fluids, oil and oil filters, antifreeze, appliances with compressed gases, lead paint chips, tires, batteries, computers, monitors, televisions, fluorescent bulbs, railroad ties, medical waste, asbestos, animals, barrels and all liquids.
