Gravette Care and Share to have booth at craft festival

— The Village Art Club announces that Care and Share in Gravette will have a booth at the 42nd annual Bella Vista Arts and Crafts Festival scheduled October 14 - 16.

Sandy Pogue said the Care and Share booth will have receptacles where persons may bring items to donate to the agency which has served the area more than 25 years. Care and Share is a nonprofit organization which accepts donations of food, clothing, furniture and merchandise for free distribution to persons in need or sells those items at minimum cost with funds used to help needy persons in the School District 20, she explained.

Nonperishable canned or boxed food such as mac & cheese, rice, beans, coffee, tea, juice, fruit, vegetables, crackers, hot/cold cereals, seasonings, etc.

are needed and will be welcomed.

Other items always needed to assist persons in need include diapers - all sizes, baby wipes, laundry detergent/ fabric softener, dishwashing liquid, cleaning products, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant (female & male), body wash/hand soap, toothbrushes/ toothpaste (adult & children), mouthwash, razors, shaving cream, lotion, toilet paper and feminine pads/tampons.

“When planning to attend the festival, please think about bringing something to donate,” said Pogue. If you have large items they may be taken to the Care and Share loading dock at 103 Main Street SE in Gravette or to schedule pickup of large items call 787-6760.
