Gravette students expelled

— wo Gravette High students were expelled by the Gravette School Board in a special meeting Thursday night.

The action was taken after an executive meeting involving a boy who was in possession of a knife on a school bus. The youth was expelled for two semesters. He will be able to enroll in classes at the start of the spring semester next year.

The second youth was expelled for the remainder of this school year. His expulsion came as the result of violating 12 of the district’s infractions which can lead to expulsion, including the use of chewing tobacco.
