— Tippy and 49er made their annual trip to the fire station Monday afternoon to receive their rabies shot. There was a good turnout for the clinic. Thank you, Dr. Harris and Angie.

Sympathy is extended to Gloria Laughlin and family for their loss.

Linda Fisher from Oklahoma has spent a few days with her mother, Ruby Hight, thisweek. My daughter-in-law, Linda, of Arlington, Tex., is home recovering following knee replacement surgery this week.

Seems like our sick list keeps growing. We want to add Mitch and Jan Rogers and hope they are both lots better.

Austin Miller has spent some time in the hospital following a stroke.

Lofty and DaleLynn Carrier have spent a few daysin Eureka Springs celebrating their anniversary.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hamilton were in Gravette Saturday evening to attend the “Over the Rainbow Dinner” served by the culinary arts class and attend the Wizard of Oz play. Their grandson Kolton was a member of the cast.

Those having lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Ward Carrier on Sunday included JasonRuopp, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Carrier, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Brooks, Lamarise Carrier and myself.

The average family of four spends more than $5,000 a year at the grocery store. Resolve to spend no more than 5% of each week’s grocery budget on convenience and junk foods and you’ll see your expenditures (and maybe your waistline) shrink.
