Larry Keith has spent some time in Newton County turkey hunting this week. Luckily we missed the hail again Thursday afternoon but did have a severe thunderstorm with about 3 1/2 inches of rain. We didn’t miss the hail Saturday morning, or the second one Saturday afternoon. Can anyone give a mother cat and five new kittens a good, safe home? If so please call me. Also there are three more adult cats who need a home. My family fixed me a birthday lunch on Sunday. Those helping me celebrate were Mr. and Mrs. Ward Carrier, Mr. and Mrs. Lofty Carrier, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Carrier and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Brooks. We had a combination birthday and Easter lunch.
