Elsie Boldra

Elsie I. Boldra, 66, of Staples, Minn., and formerly of the Gentry-Decatur area, died April 14, 2011, at the Lakewood Health System Hospital in Staples.

She was born March, 20, 1945, to Mary (Kastonek) Spracklin and George Spracklin. As a youth, she moved with her parents to Arkansas and also lived in several towns in Minnesota before moving to Staples. She was united in marriage to Keith Weston Boldra, Sr., on July 19, 1964, in Staples.

She was employed at Crystal Lakes Foods in Decatur and as a housekeeper and caregiver to family members. She enjoyed rug making, quilting at Church of Christ, family history research, crocheting and bird watching.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son Vernon Keith Boldra; and two brothers, David and Clifford Spracklin.

She is survived by her son, Keith Dwight Boldra; sisters, Suzzy Harper of New York Mills, Minn., Konnie Overy of Staples, and Tracey (Leroy) Denny of Staples; brothers, Roy Davey, Jr., of Deer Creek, Minn., and Ardell Davey of Browerville, Minn.

A funeral service was held April 18 at the Staples Church of Christ.

Burial was at the Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples. Arrangements were by Brenny Funeral Chapels and Cremation Services in Staples.

Jessica Cramer

Jessica Catherine Cramer, 68, of Pea Ridge, died April 18, 2011, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville.

She was born Jan. 13, 1943, in Wichita, Kan., to Donald Eugene Campbell and Nelly Lucille Holsey Campbell. She retired from Walmart benefits department and attended First Baptist Church in Centerton.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Joe Cramer; two brothers, Donald Eugene Campbell, Jr., and Edward Thomas Campbell; and one sister, Emma Louise Schwind.

Survivors include one son, Clinton Joe Cramer of Bella Vista; two daughters, Shelly Dawn Luedtke of Lincoln, Neb., and Shawnda Briggs of Largo, Fla.; one sister, Marcelles Helt of Wichita, Kan.; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held April 22 at First Baptist Church in Centerton, with Stuart Bell officiating. Burial was at Bethel Cemetery in Gravette.

Arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Barbara Gray

Barbara Maxine Gray, 80, of Siloam Springs, died April 20, 2011, at her home.

She was born Feb. 3, 1931, in Phoenix, Ariz., to Audrey and Jessie Gertrude Coberly Smith. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phisorority and enjoyed golf, dancing and homemaking.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Gray; three sons, Michael E.

Gray and wife Linda, and Randy W. Gray and wife Melanie, all of Siloam Springs, and Donald A.

Gray and wife Sandra of Gentry;

a daughter, Paula S. Maples and husband Bob of Siloam Springs; a brother; a sister; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service was held April 25 at the First Christian Church in Siloam Springs. Arrangements are by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Mary Phillips

Mary “Susie” Susan Phillips, 59, of Gravette, died April 18, 2011, at her home.

She was born Sept. 25, 1951, to Edward and Mary Sieger in Springfield, Mo. She married Mike Phillips on April 2, 1983.

She was employed byWalmart for several years as an auditor before becoming a housewife. She loved visiting Colorado to ride her ATV and also spending time with her four grandsons.

She was preceded in death byone son, Steven; and her grandparents.

She is survived by her husband of Gravette; her parents of Republic, Mo.; son, Kristian Walters of Bentonville; daughter, Mary Courtney McClintock and husband Brad of Olathe, Kan.;

stepsons, Michael Phillips and wife Mistie of Berryville, Joshua Phillips and wife Robin of Harrison; four grandsons; brothers, Charles Sieger and wife Jan of Republic, Mo., and Edward and wife Penny of Marshfield, Mo.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory, in Bella Vista.

Bonnie Reed

Bonnie Doris Reed, 76, of Kansas, Okla., died April 19, 2011, at her home.

She was born May 13, 1934, in Colcord, Okla., to Ben and Florence Winfield Luper. She was a CNA at Quail Ridge Living Center in West Siloam Springs, Okla. She was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Marilyn Ehrlich.

Survivors include two daugh ters, Retha Purdue of Kansas Okla., and Cathy King and hus band Tom of Enid, Okla.; two sons, Paul Ehrlich of Kansas Okla., and Benny Ehrlich and wife Alene of Colcord; seven grandchildren; eight great-grand children; three brothers, George Luper of Claremore, Okla., Toby Luper of Missouri, and John Luper of Siloam Springs; four sis ters, Doralou Edwards of Kansas Okla., Evalee Butler of Westville Okla., Judy Jackson of Kansas Okla. and Diane Sarten of Siloam Springs.

Graveside services were April 21 at Kansas Cemetery, Kansas Okla., with Sam Andrews of ficiating.

Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Bettie Robison

Bettie J. Robison, 80, of Jay Okla., died April 11, 2011.

She was born in Iowa City Iowa., on July 10, 1930, and grew up in St. Joseph, Mo. After gradu ating from high school there she attended Missouri Western State College. She married Omar Finnell and their union was blessed with four sons. Throughthe years, the family lived in Kansas City, Eagleville, and Gravette, Mesa, Ariz., and Pryor, Okla., before moving to Claremore in 1969.

She was employed in medical records, sold real estate and owned and operated a restaurant during those years. On June 12, 1987, Bettie and Wiley Robison married in a Miami, Okla., ceremony and made their home in Foyil until 2006 when they relocated to Jay, Okla.

She was a member of Eastern Star and First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Wiley of the home; sons Jim D.

Finnell and wife Teri, and Garry R. Finnell, all of Gravette, John Finnell and his wife Lynda of Forney, Texas, Jody Finnell and wife Christine of Fulton, Mo., and Tony Robison of Tulsa, Okla.; nine grandchildren, and two greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Omar Finnell; and brother, Harold Shackleford.

Funeral services were held April 15 at First Baptist Church in Jay. Burial was April 18 at the Masonic Cemetery in Eagleville, Mo.

Arrangements were by Rice Funeral Service, Claremore, Okla.

Johnathan “Johnny the Brave” Trenton Teis

Johnathan “Johnny the Brave” Trenton Teis, 8, of Gravette, AR was eternally healed in Heaven on April 21, 2011 at his home in Gravette. He was born August 1, 2002 in Grand Rapids, MI to Robert John Teis and Amanda Marie Donegan Teis.

Johnny was a fun loving adventurous boy who enjoyed playing with his four siblings,outdoor activities, and was quick to offer a smile to everyone he met. People and relationships were important to him and he valued time with people over toys and things. He played baseball and soccer and enjoyed watching the Cornerstone Golden Eagles, his favorite team.

Johnny is survived by his parents; four brothers and sisters, Robby, Abby, Kenny and Emmy Teis all of the home;

maternal grandparents Marshall and Pam Donegan of Goshen, IN; paternal grandparents, Robert and Barbara Teis of Cedar Springs, MI; paternal great-great grandfather, John Wolford of Canton, OH; maternal great-great grandmother Margie Strand of Petoskey, MI; & many aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.

A visitation was held from 4 PM to 8 PM, Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Stockdale Funeral Services in Rogers, AR.

A celebration of Johnny’s life will be held at 6 PM, Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at the Gravette Competition Gym, 607 Dallas Street Southwest, in Gravette, AR.

Robert William Knight

Robert William Knight passed away on April 23, 2011 at his home in Gravette. He was born January 19, 1942 to Albert & Florine Knight in Virginia. He spent his younger years in Georgia before joining the United States Navy at the age of 17. Bob married the love of his life Jeanne Walters on August 10, 1962. Thecouple had three children Sheryl, Daryl and Sharon. Bob loved his family and his grandchildren were his passion. His grandchildren felt that their GRANDPA was the greatest man on earth. Bob retired from Rogers Iron & Metals in 2008 but spent many years in the scrap metal industry in California and Colorado before moving to Arkansas. After retirement he loved to watch the birds eat from his feeders and had a love for bald eagles. He was a very patriotic man that loved his country and honored the American flag with great passion. Bob is preceded by his parents and daughter Sheryl Knight Sellars.

Survived by his wife Jeanne, son Daryl Knight and wife Michelle; daughter Sharon Grounds and husband Jerry; his grandchildren Josh, Justin, Paul Ashley, Kendra, Tyler, Donnie, Nicole, Steven & Johnathan and great grandson Carter.
