— Daddy’s Caddy will be performing “retro rock-nroll” during the car show at the Decatur Barbecue.

The band enjoys playing all genres of music, including country, rock, bluegrass and gospel, but is planning to focus on rock and roll and some country car songs, said Mike Duncan of Decatur, a vocalist and guitar player for the band.

“We can play a range of material that not many bands can do because of the time we have been playing together,” said Duncan.

Other band members include vocalist Tom Katz, who also plays the guitar and keyboard;

vocalist Keith Harvey, who plays bass guitar; and drummer Matt Fincher. Katz, Duncan and Havey are longtime friends and have played together for more than 25 years.

Fincher, who plays drums, is a new and very-talented member of the band, Duncan said.

The family-oriented band enjoys playing at everything from biker rallies to churches. The time the musicians have spent together has enabled them to work together incredibly well and the band has reached its best level yet, Duncan said.

“Its the first time since I’ve left Nashville that I’ve had this much fun,” he said.

Daddy’s Caddy will perform from 12 to 2 p.m. on the stage in Veterans Park.
