Hook-Davidson to wed

— Kristen Janece Hook, of Gentry, and Blake Michael Davidson, of Greenwood, have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is a 2011 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway with a doctorate degree in physical therapy, a 2008 graduate of Arkansas Tech University in Russellville with a bachelor's degree in biology, and a 2004 graduate of Gentry High School.

She is the daughter of Floyd and Linda Hook of Gentry and the granddaughter of Freda Wilmoth of Gentry, the late Ross Wilmoth, the late Arthur Hook and the late Janie Heinrich.

The bridegroom-elect is currently pursuing a master’s degree in information security through Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. He is a 2010 graduate of Arkansas Tech University in Russellville with a bachelor's degree in information technology and a 2005 graduate of Greenwood High School. He is a systems analyst at Data-Tronics Corp in Fort Smith.

He is the son of Mike Davidson of Greers Ferry, and Suzy Davidson of Greenwood. He is the grandson of Bill and Joyce Graddy of Conway, the late JD Davidson and the late Leo and Allene Fuggat.

The couple plans to wed on Sept. 10 at First Baptist Church in Gentry.
