GRAVETTE — Gravette Police Officer Speed Estep, with the assistance of Benton County Sheriff Deputies Spain and Calzada, apprehended a male subject wanted by authorities in Florida.

The man, identified asRichard Lawson, 52, was arrested without incident at a residence on 4th Avenue SW. According to Police Chief Trent Morrison, Lawson is wanted on a felony charge of DUI manslaughter in Osceola County, Fla.

Lawson was transported to Benton County Jail and was awaiting extradition to Florida.
