— Jeremy Shorter, son of Ralph and Sally Shorter of Gravette and 1994 graduate of Gravette High School, graduated March 11 from Collins College in a ceremony held at the Tempe Center for the Arts in Tempe, Ariz.

Jeremy graduated valedictorian, summa cum laude, with a bachelor’s degree in film and video production, with emphasis on producing and directing. He also won the entrepreneurial award for owning and using his own fictitious business name, Preiso Creations, at the state level.

Jeremy is a Christian music artist and songwriter with five albums of his own and two with 41st and Memorial. He has written and published four books: a novel, “Beyond”; and a trilogy, “The Key to Everything - Book 1, Solace; Book 2, Spoil Sport; and Book 3, Still.”

Jeremy is currently thescript writer for a local Arizona producer, as well as producer, script supervisor and editor for a short film soon to be released by the school. He recently finished a project for Duncan Harvey, writing a portion of a script for a film being worked on in Hollywood. Jeremy is also line producer for a script being produced by Irin Daniels (also known as Iroc), a well-known Phoenix music studio owner. He was recently hired for another film which is in the start-up phase.
