MAYSVILLE NEWS

— The weather gets rather hot in the afternoon but nothing like we were having. At least we got rain we were proud of.

Patti King of Lowell came over to the home of her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, on Wednesday and stayed until Thursday afternoon. They enjoyed her visit. She had her car in Saine Body Shop for some work on it.

Patti King visited Ron and Debbie Sims one day this week to visit and go horseback riding, which she enjoys.

There were two names left out of the item last week on Maysville E. H. Club going to Rogers. Katherine and Sylvia Tucker also went.

Mrs. Seth Hughes visited Jewel Lukens last Friday. Jewel enjoyed the little girl visiting her.

I didn’t get to the fair this week. I guess the heat was bad up there. I heard the Maysville E.H. Club received a blue ribbon on their educational booth. Thanks to the club members who did it.

Steve and Susan Tucker of Bella Vista had the services at the MaysvilleBible Church Sunday morning. They told of their work in the Eagle Family Ministry they established in June, 1996. They do a lot in Wilmot, a mission they plan to continue. We enjoyed the update and hearing the many good things that come from it for families and individuals. They know that God is helping them in this muchneeded field.

I don’t have any news about the fair exhibits. I know there are Maysville people and 4-H members that do enter. Maybe next week I’ll have some.
