Sympathy is extended to the Walker family. Ivan was well known in the area and will be missed by all who knew him. Margie Nichols passed away this week. We extend sympathy to her family.

Mr. and Mrs. Ward Carrier, Gabe Carrier and DaleLynn Carrier had lunch with me on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Burns have returned from a 13-day vacation in Oklahoma. Larry Keith and Ruby Hight are both still on our sick list. Tami Presley is home for a few days before she hasto go back to Little Rock for more treatments.

It was Jake CARVER who won a blue ribbon on his hog at the county fair. He also won peewee showmanship.

You can expect rain when dogs eat grass, cats wash behind their ears or donkeys bray.
