— The Gravette Gleamers 4-H Club had a busy fall. We had a successful fair in August and we all had a great time.

In October, we did bingo at the Senior Citizen Center in Gravette. We gave away many prizes and served a meal to the senior citizens, which they seemed to enjoy.

A couple weeks later, we did community service at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. We picked up trash around the graves and straightened posts and veterans’ crosses.

Also, in October, our club handed out cans of candy to the local businesses which supportedus throughout the year.

On Nov. 14, we held our annual achievement banquet at the Hiwasse First Baptist Church. We served Mexican food.

The retiring officers presented candles to the new officers. New officers are: Brooke Belts, president; Katlynn Martin, secretary/vice president; Coby Farrister, treasurer; Blake Belts, reporter; Bryce Romine and Ethan Cook, photographers; Kenton Tajcman, Cloverbud leader; Katherine Pembleton, Kelsey Pembleton, Stormey Pembleton and Therrin Vandiver, song leaders; Anthony McPherson, recreational leader.

That’s what’s been going on in our club. To learn more about the Gravette Gleamers, contact Brooke Belts at 787-6699.
