— Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette is saying “Goodbye” to its director of Resolutions, Kandis Pendley.

Pendley has been with OCH for 11 years, having begun work for OCH in Springfield, Mo., where she played a key role in opening Resolutions, a geriatric behavioral unit.

She has worked as an assistant administrator at Gravette OCH since it reopened in 2007 and after opening the Resolutions unit has been its director.

“I’ve enjoyed my time here and I’ve learned a lot,” Pendley said. She said she will become even more involved with volunteer organizations after her retirement, including Magic Moments Riding, a horseback riding therapy program.

A retirement party will be held at 2 p.m., Dec. 9, at the hospital in Gravette. Friends and coworkers are invited to attend and wish her well in retirement.
