MAYSVILLE NEWS

We are sure having cold weather now but I guess we can expect it in December and I’m sure it will be colder in January and February.

Patti King of Lowell visited her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, Sunday afternoon. They had a good visit.

Maysville E. H. Club members, this Thursday is club day at the community building. After lunch we will have a program if anyone has a reading or poem. We all need to bring a $5 gift-wrapped present for the game, then everyone will receive a gift. See you all there.

Jack and Sylvia Tucker’s great-granddaughter Hayley Cochran visited them one day last week. They were glad to have her come and visit.

Sylvia and KatherineTucker attended a baby shower at Centerton Saturday afternoon for Seth and Melody Tucker, expecting a baby in February. This will be my greatgrandson and Steve and Susan Tucker’s grandson, the first one. Steve and Seth came after Sylvia and me. Susan and Steve brought us home so we had a good visit with them.

Sylvia Tucker visited Johnnie Mae Marshall on Wednesday afternoon. They spent it visiting and crocheting. They always enjoy that.

We had dinner at Maysville Bible Church after morning services Sunday. We enjoyed a good meal and of course the fellowship was good also. Then there were no services Sunday evening.

Hope everyone has a merry Christmas. Maybe I’ll have more news then.
