Braylon Atkinson

Braylon Jacee Atkinson, 1 year, 9 months, died Dec. 9, 2011, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born Feb. 26, 2010, in Fayetteville, to Charles Roger Atkinson and Brandi Lee Brumley.

Graveside services were Dec. 12 at Fox Cemetery in Powell, Mo. Arrangements were by Walker-Dowd Funeral Home Chapel in Anderson, Mo.

Brandi Brumley

Brandi Lee Brumley, 30, of Bentonville, died Dec. 9, 2011, near Centerton from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Brandi was born in Gravette on June 26, 1981, to Bryan Scott and Brenda Lee (Cook) Brumley. She was employed with Best Western Hotel.

Graveside services were Dec. 12 at Fox Cemetery in Powell, Mo. Arrangements were by Walker-Dowd Funeral Home Chapel in Anderson, Mo.

Martha Dodd

Martha Louise Dodd, 82, of Gentry, died Dec. 6, 2011, at home.

She was born Nov. 1, 1929, at Columbia, Mo., to Priestly Harvey McCabe and Louise Pearl Snell McCabe. She worked as an office manager for the local cable company of Flagstaff, Ariz. She moved to northwest Arkansas four years ago.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald Dodd and his wife Kay of Gentry and Russell Dodd of Montana; one daughter Claudia Lakin and her husband Dave of Flagstaff; and seven grandchildren.

Memorial services were Dec. 9 at Circle of Life in Springdale. Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Robert Hicks

Robert Michael Hicks, 51, of Bentonville, died Dec. 10, 2011, in Bentonville.

He was born May 4, 1960, in Kyushu Island, Japan, to Robert Hicks and Jean Thompson Hicks. He was a self-employed carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors include four children, Faith Hendricks, Bruce Alexander and Sarah Pilkington, all of Gravette, and Stephanie Hicks of Marion, Ohio; his father Robert W. Hicks and wife Julia M. Hicks of Beebe; special friend Natalia Brui and her daughter Ana of the home; three sisters, Patricia Jean Droptiny of Ward; Deborah Lynn Latham of Bentonville, and Donna Denise McCollough of Jacksonville; and twelve grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m., Dec. 14, at First Christian Church in Gravette. Interment will be in the Dixon Cemetery near Cherokee City. Arrangements are by Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers.

Cody Jenks

Cody Michael Jenks, 26, of Siloam Springs, died Dec. 8, 2011, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.

He was born April 16, 1985, in Siloam Springs, to Michael D. Jenks and Tammy Lynn Robison Jenks. He lived his entire life in Siloam Springs and was a machinist for Marshall Tools and worked for Simmons Pet Foods. He was a member of Sager Creek Community Church, Siloam Springs.

He was preceded in death by his wife Alejandra Jenks; his maternal grandfather, Utah Robison; and his paternal grandfather, Charles Jenks.

Survivors include his parents, Michael and Tammy Jenks of Siloam Springs; one brother, Casey Jenks and wife Mandi of Siloam Springs; two sons, Luis Rodriguez and Michael Lee Jenks of Siloam Springs; two daughters, Jazmin Marie Jenks and Heidi Dawn Jenks, of Siloam Springs; his maternal grandmother, Carol Robison of Siloam Springs; his paternal grandmother, Florence Jenks of Colcord, Okla.; and his maternal great-grandmother, Noralee Wymore of Siloam Springs.

Memorial services were Dec. 12 at Sager Creek Community Church, with Jim Henderson officiating.

Donald Maples

Donald Gary Maples, 59, of Siloam Springs, died Dec. 6, 2011, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.

He was born Aug. 26, 1952, in Pampa, Texas, to Loyd Maples and Vertie Anderson Maples. He lived most of his life in the Siloam Springs area and was a maintenance man/ machinist for SWEPCO. He married Barb Hill on Nov. 30, 2007, in Siloam Springs. He was a member of Sager Creek Community Church, Siloam Springs.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Brenda; his parents, Loyd and Vertie Maples; and his mother and father in-law, Robert and Bonnie Jones.

Survivors include his wife Barb of the home; one daughter, Dawna Snell and husband Robert of Cassville, Mo.; one son, Gary Maples and wife Mandi of Siloam Springs; three grandchildren; brother, Dean Maples of Siloam Springs; sisters, Wanda Rains and husband Ben of Amarillo, Texas, and Ruth Way and husband Floyd of Antlers, Okla.; brother Harold Maples and wife Barbara of Corpus Christi, Texas; sister Verna Reed of Tulsa, Okla;,brother Ronald Maples and wife Bette of Rogers; and mother-inlaw, Christine Martin of Westville, Okla.

Funeral services were Dec. 9 at Sager Creek Community Church, Siloam Springs, with Dan Crenshaw officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs. Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
