Gravette's softball player Meeker will play at the University of the Ozarks

— Gravette High School softball player Kyndra Meeker will continue her softball career at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, announced Ozarks’ head coach Laurie Adkins.

Meeker, an outfielder, hit .326 with 29 hits while scoring 44 runs her junior season. She also stole 34 bases. She was named All-State as a junior and is a two-time All-Conference performer, and earned Team Offensive Player of the Year honorsas a sophomore. Meeker helped her team to the state tournament semi-finals and a conference and regional runner-up finish her junior season. She was a state and district champion in track during her prep career. She plays for the Arkansas Phenix Gold traveling team.

She is the daughter of Bill and Jennifer Meeker.

Ozarks competes in the 15-team American Southwest Conference, one of the largest and premier intercollegiate athletic conferences in NCAA Division III.
