With the opportunity to win U.S. Savings Bonds, the Builders Club also awarded prize money to the local winners who were in competition with entries from the VFW post area of Bentonville and Gravette.

Of the 24 essays, Gravette Middle School student Austina Lee placed first and an essay by Tiffany May earned third place. Austina’s essay will be forwarded for judging against all other VFW post winners in the district.
