A $1,000 donation from Walmart was presented to the Boys and Girls Club of Western Benton County, Gravette unit, on Dec. 21. The money will provide scholarships for children at risk of withdrawing from the club due to financial hardships, said Sarah Chadick, an account executive with Mitchell Communications Group.
Making the presentation at the Gravette Walmart Express was store manager Jennifer Landers, right. Chris Crose, director of the Gravette club unit, center, accepted the symbolic check. Western Benton County Director Chris Shimer and his wife, Decinda, were present for the ceremony.
