Registration starts for Gravette summer ball program

— Sign-up for Gravette summer baseball/softball starts Jan. 1, according to board member Debbie Skinner.

Fees are:

◊boys, age 4-12, $35

◊boys, age 13-15, $75

◊boys, age 16-18, $100

◊girls, age 4-12, $35

◊girls, age 13-16, $50

Family discounts and scholarships are available.

Players not signed up by Jan. 31 will pay a $10late fee and will not be guaranteed a spot on the team. Sign up online at www.leaguelineup.com/gravette .

Registration sites will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 21 at the old gymnasium and from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 30 at Arvest conference room.

“Gravette is trying to get the rest of the league’s cities to start a new 16U league that would combine girls ages 13-16. Age 15-16 year-old girls are encouraged to sign up.Last year was the first year for 6U girls softball that includes 4-6 year old girls. This program is here to stay. We are looking for age 13-15 year-old boys for playing in a league with Rogers, McDonald County, Gentry and Jay. Please sign up on time,” the announcement stressed.
