— Garry Clark

Garry Scott Clark, 56, of Gravette, died Jan. 23, 2011, at his home.

He was born July 17, 1954, in Springdale, to the late Wando and JoAnn (Moran) Clark of Seligman, Mo. He was a welder, loved the rodeo and team roping.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Robinson.

He is survived by his son, Scott and Jennifer Clark of Gravette; his brother, Steve and Linda Clark of Tontitown; and his sister, Deborah Clark of Seligman, Mo.

Funeral services were Jan. 27 at Word of Life Fellowship Church in Bentonville.

Arrangements were by Callison-Lough Funeral Home, Bentonville.

Rena Copeland

Rena Josephine Copeland, 88, of Centerton, died Jan. 26, 2011, in Siloam Springs.

She was born April 12, 1922, in Wheeler County, Texas, to Joseph Fain and Celestia (Turner) Fain. She graduated from Portales High School in 1939 and went on to obtain an associate of arts degree from Eastern New Mexico State in 1941. She was a member of the civil service in Roswell, N.M., before moving to Arkansas in 1951. She was a member of the Centerton Planning Commission and City Council. She enjoyed quilting and donating the quilts she had made to various area organizations. She is known for making her dough-head dolls.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Copeland, whom she married on June 15, 1942, in Clovis, N.M.; and daughter, Josephine Rogers; three sisters, Orva Bristow, Joan Brewer and Helen Cooksey; and a brother, Sam Fain.

She is survived by her children, Kathy Clark and husband Ronnie of Arkadelphia, Alice Harris and husband Jerry of Gentry, Hal Copeland and wife Nancy of Bentonville, Maxine Stockton and husband Bill of Los Lunas, N.M., Ted Copeland Jr. and wife Judy of Hayden, Colo.; 22 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Jan. 29 at Benton County Funeral Home, with Stuart Bell officiating. Private interment was at Benton County Memorial Park.

Arrangements were by Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers.

Betty Crabtree

Betty Jean Presley Crabtree, 69, of Bentonville, formerly of Gravette, died Jan. 20, 2011.

She was born in Bentonville on Jan. 26, 1941, to Paul and Viola Finney Presley. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Crabtree.

Survivors include her children, Teresa Orozco and husband Roger of Bentonville, Susie Queisser of Bentonville, Robyn Crabtree of Lowell, Dana Beavers and husband Bobby of Centerton and Deana Browers and husband Brian of Bentonville; brothers, Jimmy Presley of Springfield, Mo., Alan Presley of Jane, Mo. and Larry Presley of Fayetteville; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Jan. 26 at Bentonville Church of the Nazarene with Mark Snodgrass and Mal McCawley officiating. Burial was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Arrangements were by Callison-Lough Funeral Home, Bentonville.

Harold Hendrickson

Harold L. Hendrickson, 75, of Miami, Okla., died Jan. 25, 2011, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Mo.

He was born Nov. 11, 1935, in the Fairmount Community of Benton County, to David Otto Hendrickson and Roxie Martin Hendrickson. He lived most of his life in Northeast Oklahoma but lived several years in California after he left military service with the Army. He was a 1953 graduate of Colcord High School, Colcord, Okla., and was a maintenance man with the Colcord Public Schools until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Q. Hendrickson.

Survivors include one son, Mark Hendrickson of Locust Grove, Okla.; one daughter, Denise Morris of Watts, Okla.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wanda Hall of Miami, Okla., and Jean Hurt of Colcord.

Funeral services were Jan. 28 at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with Larry Ellis officiating.

Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.

Harold McKee

Harold James McKee, 89, of Bentonville, died Jan. 27, 2011, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.

He was born Aug. 8, 1921, in Tulsa, Okla., to Charles M. and Etta M. Marler McKee. He was a truck driver and mechanic for several companies, including Schmieding Produce, Zero Mountain Cold Storage and E.L. Reddish Trucking, and he was a mechanic for Bell International. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was awarded American Defense Service Ribbon with Bronze Star, Asiatic Pacific Theatre Service Ribbon, two Purple Heart Medals, the Victory Medal Distinguished Unit Badge with Oak Leaf Cluster, Philippine Defense Service Ribbon with Bronze Star. He was prisoner of war for three years and four months in Japan. He was 25-year volunteer for the Goshen Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Delela Harvey McKee, whom he married Feb. 23, 1946; three grandchildren, Raye Ann Bell, Ginger Marsh and Juston McKee.

Survivors include two sons, Randy McKee and wife Betty of Springdale and Rick McKee of Ozark; four daughters, Sharon Bell of Bentonville, Donna Perry and husband Bob of Decatur, Patty Marsh and husband Darrell of Cave Springs, and Rhonda Stith of Springdale; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and seven greatgreat-grandchildren.

Memorial services were Jan. 29 at the Lakeview Baptist Church in Cave Springs with Johnny Harp officiating. Private interment services were to be held at a later date.

Arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Home, Springdale.

Larry Myers

Larry “Bruce” Myers, 62, of Siloam Springs, died Jan. 26, 2011, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.

He was born Aug. 9, 1948, in Siloam Springs, to Forrest Jack Myers and Lela McDonald Myers. He was a 1966 graduate of Siloam Springs High School and received a bachelor of science degree in animal science from the University of Arkansas. He was a service technician for Cobb and Tyson until he retired after 33 years of service. He was President of the FFA Alumni and was a member of Gideon’s International. He was a Deacon at First Baptist Church, Siloam Springs. He married Sharon Kay Hickman on June 5, 1970, in Colcord, Okla.

Survivors include his wife Sharon of the home; one son, Larry Franklin Myers and wife Lori of Siloam Springs; one daughter, Lori Weir and husband Jeremy of Siloam Springs; four grandchildren; and one brother, Richard Myers of Siloam Springs.

Funeral services were Jan. 29 at First Baptist Church, Siloam Springs, with Jason Kelly, Steve Abbott and Mike Rogers officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs.

Arrangments were by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.

Mary Kathleen Patrick

Mary Kathleen “Kathy” Patrick, 74, of Rogers, died Jan. 28, 2011, in Rogers.

She was born Oct. 7, 1936, in Hiwasse, to James and Ruby Gray Allmendinger. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Rogers.

She is survived by her children, Dale Patrick of Powell, Mo., Doug Patrick of Salt Lake City, Utah, Merry Heikam of Los Angeles, Calif., Melissa Wallentine of Salt Lake City, Utah, and James Patrick of Rogers; two brothers, Wayne Allmendinger of Rogers, and Billy Allmendinger of Stockton, Calif.; and one sister, Nancy Eddy of Little Rock; 21 grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Feb. 3, at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth St., Rogers, with Eric Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery near Hiwasse. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Stephen R. Wilson, Sr., 56, of Gravette, died Jan. 23, 2011, at his home.

He was the husband of Charlean (Filbeck). He was born July 25, 1954, to the late Arthur Wilson and Maxine Phillips (Rundell) in Joplin, Mo. He was a supervisor for SM Lawrence and loved hunting, fishing and being with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Wilson; and three sisters, Connie Wilson, Joyce Jordan and Vicki Tilley.

He is survived by two sons, Ted Wilson and Stephen Wilson, Jr., and two daughters, Ashley Wilson and Jamie Wilson, all of Rogers; four brothers, Gil Tygart of Philadelphia, Pa., Leon Black of Rogers, David Wilson of Webb City, Mo., and Jerry Tygart of Rogers; four sisters, Diane Atkinson of Jacket, Mo., Judy Payne of Garfield, Ruby Petty of Carthage, Mo., and Wanda Forgerty of Webb City, Mo.; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were Jan. 28 at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville.

Johnny (J.B.) Warren

Johnny Bailey Warren, 73, of Gentry, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, in Springdale.

He was a native of Spurger, Tex., the son of the late James Monroe and Jewel Ray Perkins Warren, graduate of Voth-Rosedale High School in Beaumont, Texas, former Johnson County resident, Baptist, a member of Pipe Liners Local Union 798, fisherman and hunter.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Kiger.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Warren; one daughter, Susan Roberts of Gentry; two sons, Johnny Ray Warren of Monroe, La., and Douglas Warren of Weatherford, Texas; two stepdaughters, Michelle Finnell of Gentry and Christina Mews of Siloam Springs; three sisters, Helen Warren of Hartman, Cathy Campbell of Southwest City, Mo., and Linda Johnson of Knoxville; six brothers, J. R. Warren of Marana, Ariz., Lee Roy Warren of Clarksville, Billy Warren of Hartman, Tommy Warren of Coal Hill, Pat Warren of Knoxville and Doyle Warren of Fort Smith; seven grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Jan. 27 at Union Grove Baptist Church, with Larry Horne officiating. Crematory arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Correction

A daughter, Mary Kathryn Correia of Ellicott City, MD, was accidentally omitted as a survivor of Mary Margaret Forbes, 77, of Noel, who died Jan. 17, 2011.
